Video Game Company "Grin" is shutting down
The company that brought you Wanted, Terminator Salvation and Bionic Commando is closing their doors, which they should after those three bombs.
Swedish developers GRIN are facing severe financial difficulties, with reports coming to light that its Barcelona and Gothenburg offices have closed, and that its main Stockholm office may follow suit.
GRIN's most recent games were the ill-fated movie tie-ins Wanted: Weapons of Fate and Terminator Salvation, both of which were met with a muted critical response. It's take on Capcom's Bionic Commando fared better at review, but slumped dramatically at retail.
Reports dating back to June detail the closing of two of GRIN's studios, and Gamasutra has learnt that a similar fate could befell company's main Stockholm office, with employees being told not to come to work as the office prepares for a potential bankruptcy procedure.
