The update keeps failing when you try to download it, I've tried 4 times already. Anyways, this game is GREAT.

Okay, the update went through in a matter of seconds. This game has officially gotten frustrating. It's not the courses, that's fine. But now all of a sudden every driver wants to be an ass on the road. And im not talking about position, because I believe you do what you have to do to gain the lead. I'm talking about on time trials. When it isn't a competition. I've had cars purposely ram me or pin me against the rail, just so I don't beat a time trial. Why am I on the road with other people, during a time trial anyways? I had guys cut me off, then stop short RIGHT in front of me. Then having to buy cars I DON'T EVEN WANT TO USE, in specific races. (cuppaccino anyone?)

I know that, I've already completed it. I just think it's stupid. I've had this game for two days and I'm pretty much finished Class A license.

This.
GT-R handles horribly, but great acceleration and HP. I think when enough members get this game, we should start our own racing team for online play.

That's not my Photoshop, I can't take credit. That's a real car design from SRT Sponsered Racing. It's just coincedental that the three letters "SRT" matches ours. Also about the Corvette, it also has kinda bad handling, but the HP is a monster. Anyone looking for a car with great acceleration, great HP and good handling may wanna check out the BMW M3.

I agree. Even though during that one lap race, they make the mini cooper seem damn near invincible.

Re: GT 5 Prologue
Well we have a new contender for worst handling for a monster car, the Ferarri 430. Talk about crap compacted on wheels.

Re: GT 5 Prologue
well all you need to do is set back of a car and use the aerodynamic "spot" this will let u run faster with less resistance to the wind xD, same for all cars xDgibbodude wrote:Still only managing to get silver on that one i was literally 0.111 second behind it once
I ran the integra and the Focus at 250kmh in the oval xD think is like 160mph not sure

The aerodynamic spots/drift spots don't work for every car. For example, coming around a turn and a specific car doesn't have good handling, doesn't matter. You have to break, because your car is going to slide going around and drop in speed regardless. Worst case senario, you'll spin out. If good enough you can regain momentum during the spin out, by driving in reverse and using the right timing judgement. Most cars drive up to 90mph in reverse, max. So until you get a hold of yourself, you'll be able to spin back to normal, and drive the right way without much position or time lost. Anyways, back to turns and aerodynamics. If you just let off the gas a little during a turn, then tap on it again, with the right timing, you gain a slight amount of traction and make the corner without much speed lost.

Re: GT 5 Prologue
So I've beaten A Class and I got to upgrade cars. Problem is, I can't fine the spoilers you can put on. So now I'm doing the added bonus, S Class license.

coltsfreak21 wrote:dang, you seem pretty amazing at this game
No, I'm not amazing. I've just been playing GT ever since it came out, I still have my flaws though. Powersliding doesn't work too well for me as it does in any other racing games. (ala need 4 speed) But S Class is frustrating.
Collision Penalties
Ramming Penalties
Shortcut Penalties
Just annoying... Because alot of it isn't even my fault. If I get hit from behind, I get the pentalty, not the guy who rammed me. One car slammed into the side of me, on a turn, sending me in the grass, I recovered and I get the shortcut penalty. The comp NEVER penalizes itself during races, but makes sure you get penalties. I'm still looking for the spoilers, can't find them. Also, anyone know if there's headset use online?
